PASTOR JAMES E. TROTTER

 

Pastor James E. Trotter joined Cabin Row Missionary Baptist Church at the age of six years old.  From his childhood to adulthood he served many capacities in the church.  He served on the usher board, church choir, deacon board and as a Associate Minister.  He has served as the Pastor of Cabin Row Missionary Baptist Church for 12 years.

 

He is married to Johnetta S. Trotter and has been blessed with two children and four grandchildren.

 

Pastor James E. Trotter is the eighth of eleven children born to parents John N Trotter and Cora L. Trotter. He was educated in the Clarksville, Montgomery County School System. After graduation from high school, he attended Austin Peay State University, American Baptist Theological Seminary, and graduated from Vanderbilt University's Tennessee School of Banking.

 

His career started in the banking industry over 37 years ago with employment careers at Commercial Credit, Farmer's & Merchant's Bank. He is currently employed at Gateway Financial Services.

 

Pastor Trotter has diligently served in different capacities for the Clarksville, Montgomery Tennessee area. He served as a Chairman of the Board Planning Commission, Zoning & Appeals, CRA Forest, American Red Cross, and  also as a board member of the Clarksville Library.

 

Pastor Trotter has emphatically stated  “all that matters is that I am a child of GOD and my main degree is a B.A (Born Again)”,
